SAP ISU training programme

The SAP ISU training programme seeks to address the skills gap problem by targeting graduates from traditional and non-traditional institutions and other unemployed youth whom under normal circumstances would not have the opportunity to participate in such a programme. Training will cover an introduction to SAP, the SAP IS-U module, an overview in SAP HANA, ABAP and Mobility. Training also includes other essential skills such as resume construction, professional etiquette, mock interviews and soft skills. Coupled with a formal higher learning qualification, these skills will afford the candidates more competitiveness in the job market and thus increasing their chances of acquiring employment in an environment where growth opportunities are available.

Our pilot programme will be implemented at the Central Johannesburg College Troyville Campus from August to November 2016 as the campus already has the required facilities and desired candidates to successfully run the programme.

Africa Code Week

Coding has the power to put millions of young South Africans on the path to successful careers and empower them to build sustainable growth. Companies are currently struggling to hire enough qualified IT talent. With the Africa Code Week hackathon targeted at young people from the age of 8 to 24, we aim to encourage the development of market relevant skills and thus closing the skills gap in the ICT job market.
